We're gearing up for the season!

The 2013 Orondo Ruby cherry season is just around the corner, and we're gearing up for a great season! So far the weather has us on an early track for this year, with our harvest window estimated to start around June 23. Right now we're laying the groundwork for distribution to Whole Foods, Sam's Club, Safeway, QFC, Kroger, Fred Meyer and others. That means we're hitting the trail talking to produce managers and buyers throughout the country, asking how the season went for them last year and planning how best to support them this year. So far, we've heard that last year's season was a smash hit, with Rubies outperforming Rainiers 2 to 1!

We're also continuing our direct-ship program for those who live outside our grocery distribution area. Our giant cherries will be picked and shipped the same day, and delivered overnight to anywhere in the USA.

Needless to say we're very excited and hope to continue with this momentum. Here's to another great season!
